Founded in 2021 by Candace Jones,  we are committed to a compassionate approach to community service, operating with a grassroots ethos and a firm belief in meeting people where they are. Our goal is to make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.

As we look to the future, CJ Ministry is eager to expand our impact. We are actively seeking volunteers and exploring new funding opportunities through grants and donor outreach. With a growing network of support, we aim to continue our vital work within the Pittsburgh community and beyond.

CJ Ministry

CJ Ministry is a non-denominational nonprofit organization based in Pittsburgh. Our mission is to provide support and resources to the elderly,  individuals with a disability, those struggling with substance abuse, and those facing mental health challenges.

We strive to recognize and understand the perspectives, feelings, and lived experiences of others, especially  those most different from ourselves, and give one another grace.

 We believe in the value of healthy, lasting relationships between our staff, board, and families, and do our part to contribute to the communities we are part of.

We hold ourselves and one another responsible for ensuring First Graduate maximizes its impact, and we do what we say we will do.
